Ok, why did I not know about this sooner? It appears that for almost a year now that the Home Depot has been recycling spent CFL light bulbs at no charge. I have been keeping a pile for so long because I don’t want to put that mercury in the trash and don’t have the time or the money to dispose of them properly as hazardous waste at the dump. Now I can clean out the closet and not feel bad about it!
